Day 1 - Overnight in Oslo

Individual arrival to Oslo. Check in at the Park Inn hotel, conveniently located within walking distance of the airport. 

 

The centre of Oslo is located 20 mins from the airport with the frequent Airport Express train.

Day 2 - Flight Oslo-Kirkenes

Morning flight to the Arctic town of Kirkenes; "the top of the world", located by the Barents sea and close to the Russian border. Individual arrival to a centrally located hotel.

Wilderness Dog sledding

Hunting the Northern lights - time to explore the town before you will be picked up at your hotel in the evening for an adventurous 2 hour Northern Lights trip to the wilderness of the Pasvik valley, with Husky dog sledding.

What to bring: Comfortable shoes, warm and windproof clothing (special clothing will be provided).
Age restrictions: Min. 7 years old and accompanied by an adult.
Difficulty level: Average physical condition – involves physical activity on uneven surface and/or steep terrain. Not suitable if you have limited mobility. 

Transfer to your hotel after the trip.

Day 3 - Stay at the Snow Hotel

Enjoy an unforgettable overnight stay at the exotic Snow hotel located a short drive from Kirkenes - a beautiful piece of architecture with ice sculptures, surrounded by live reindeers in the Reindeer Safari Park. You can also take part in the feeding of the reindeers.

Included: Transfer from your hotel in Kirkenes, followed by a 3 course Arctic dinner, overnight in warm sleeping bags, sauna in the morning & breakfast. Information about the stay at the Snow hotel

Day 4 - Flight Kirkenes-Bergen

Flight via Oslo to the Hanseatic, coastal town of Bergen. Breakfast at the Snow hotel, then transfer to the centre of Kirkenes before your flight to Bergen. Take a taxi or the airport bus to the airport.

In Bergen you can take the airport bus or a 25 mins taxi trip to the centre. Check in at a centrally located hotel.

Day 5 - Bergen, full day at leisure

Spend the day to explore picturesque Bergen - see the old Bryggen Wharf, the Fish market, take the Funicular railroad to the top of mount Floyen- offering you a marvelous view of the city and the surrounding fjords & islands. Make sure to visit the authentic area with tiny, wooden houses and narrow streets at the hillside

Day 6 - Bergen-Flam village

THE NORWAY IN A NUTSHELL TOUR:

Enjoy the Norway in a Nutshell combination trip from Bergen to Oslo; starting by train from Bergen to Voss, where a connecting coach is waiting at the train station. A scenic trip across local mountain areas and through the Gudvangen valley to the inner parts of the Sognefjord and the tiny Gudvangen fjord village.

 

In Gudvangen you board a ferry for an unforgettable Fjord cruise on the UNESCO Naeroyfjord branch and the Aurlandsfjord branch. Naeroyfjord means the narrow fjord in Norwegian; the narrower branch of the Sognefjord. Disembark in the tiny village of Flam.

Day 7 - Flam Railway & Bergen line

Flam Railway: In Flam you board the unforgettable Flam Railway for a ride to Myrdal mountain station, connecting with the Bergensbanen mountain train across the Hardangervidda National Park to Oslo.

Spend 1 night in Oslo.
