Day 1 - Arrival to Oslo

Individual arrival to Oslo, the city of the Nobel Peace Prize. Individual check in at a centrally located hotel.

Day 2 - Oslo at leisure

Spend the day at leisure or take one of the optional sightseeing tours

Day 3 - Train Oslo-Trondheim

Day 4 - Train Trondheim-Bodo

Nordland line & crossing the Arctic Circle: Morning train through beautiful scenery from Trondheim to the Arctic coastal town of Bodo, beautifully located in the middle of the magnificent Arctic fjords and mountain scenery of Nordland county. Spend 1 night in Bodo

Day 5 - Bodo-Lofoten Islands

Enjoy the cruise across the Vestfjord, approaching the Lofoten Islands you will see the impressive Lofoten wall rock formation.

Day 6 - Evening cruise departure

Board the authentic Hurtigruten ship in the evening for an unforgettable cruise to Bergen.

Day 7 - Cruise Helgeland coast

Make sure to get up early to see the remarkable scenery surrounding the tiny Ornes village before the ship sails along the beautiful and dramatic Helgeland Coast with views of the Svartisen glacier & the Seven Sisters mountains south of Sandnessjoen

Day 8 - Cruise & Trondheim

Morning arrival to the historic city of Trondheim. Enjoy a few hours at leisure in the city before the ship sails through the Trondheim fjord, passing the beautiful island of Hitra and the open sea of Hustadvika before approaching the city of Molde.

Day 9 - Cruise arrival to Bergen

Passing through magnificent West Norway scenery with small fjords, narrow passages and a beautiful archipelago, including the island kingdom of Oygarden, before the ship arrives to Bergen at 14:30. Check in at a centrally located hotel in Bergen.

Day 10 - Bergen

Full day at leisure in Bergen.

The old Bryggen wharf, the Fish market, the Funicular to mount Floyen, the Aquarium, the Nordnes peninsula with the authentic areas of tiny, wooden houses, the composer Edvard Grieg's home, the Fantoft Stave church, Old Bergen Museum & the Hanseatic Museum
Optional: add a 3 hour fjord cruise from Bergen to Mostraumen or dinner at Cornelius seafood restaurant

Day 11 - Bergen-Geilo

Sognefjord cruise: Enjoy the scenic Fjord cruise by express steamer through narrow straits and scenic local fjords to the main Sognefjord with calls at tiny fjord villages, then on to the Aurlandsfjord branch and the fjord village of Flam.

 

Flam Railway & Bergen line: In Flam you board the famous Flam Railway, taking you through the spectacular Flam valley with rivers and waterfalls to the mountain station of Myrdal. Change to the Bergen line, taking you across the beautiful Hardangervidda mountain plateau and National Park. Disembark at the mountain village of Geilo, arriving in time for dinner at the historic Dr Holm's hotel. Spend 1 night at Geilo

Day 12 - Geilo-Oslo

Late morning train to Oslo, with arrival appr at 3PM. Overnight in Oslo as per day 1.
