Day 1 - Overnight in Oslo

Individual arrival to Oslo. Overnight at an airport hotel or in the centre of Oslo. The centre of Oslo is located only 20 minutes from the airport if you take the Airport express train (Flytoget).

Day 2 - Train Oslo-Trondheim

Travel by the Dovre rail line across the beautiful Dovrefjell mountain plateau to the picturesque, historic town of Trondheim, well worth a visit!

Day 3 - Overnight cruise to Bergen

Board one of the authentic Hurtigruten ships in the morning, cruising on the wide Trondheim fjord to the scenic coast – with a vast number of islands, fjords and calls at tiny coastal towns. We have included the amazing land excursion across the spectacular Atlantic Ocean road.

Departing Trondheim with the historic Munkholmen island, cruising along the beautiful western coast, with call at the coastal town of Kristiansund, where you join the land excursion taking you across the spectacular, extraordinary Atlantic Ocean road

Day 4 - Arrival to Bergen

Arrival to Bergen at 14:30, then check in at a centrally located hotel. Spend 2 nights in this picturesque, colourful city with the UNESCO Bryggen wharf, the authentic, tiny, wooden houses and narrow streets, the Funicular to mount Floyen with a beautifl view, the Aquarium.

Optional: add a 3 hour fjord cruise from Bergen to Mostraumen & an additional night in Bergen

Day 5 - Hardangerfjord day trip

A full day round trip, starting by coach across the Kvamskogen mountain plateau to the beautiful Hardangerfjord and the village of Norheimsund. Board the express boat for a scenic Fjord cruise on the Hardangerfjord to the tiny village of Ulvik, where you board the coach taking you to Voss train station, returning to Bergen by train.

Day 6 - Bergen-Flam-Geilo

Board the express boat in the morning for a Fjord cruise through beautiful scenery along the coast, with islands, narrow straits & tiny settlements, then on into the main Sognefjord, taking you to the very inner branch; the spectacular Aurlandsfjord and the tiny Flam fjord village, where you disembark.

Flam Railway

Board the historic Flam Railway for an unforgettable journey through the spectacular Flam valley, with mountain peaks, waterfalls and the beautiful river - a marvellous trip from sea level to the mountain station of Myrdal, where you join the scenic Bergen mountain line.
Then across the Hardangervidda mountain plateau to the montain village of Geilo.
Dinner & overnight at the historic Dr Holm's hotel

Day 7 - Geilo - Oslo

Board the Bergen line train for a trip through the scenic Hallingdal valley to Oslo.
