Day 1 - Arrival to Oslo

Check in at the classic Gabelshus Clarion Collection hotel, a charming and stylish boutique hotel located at quiet Frogner, Oslo's most elegant residential area, with beautiful town houses, embassies, lovely restaurants and cafes. A light evening meal is included in the price.

Day 2 - Oslo city sightseeing

Late morning 4 hour sightseeing tour  by coach through the centre of Oslo, passing the Opera House, to the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Holmenkollen Ski jump & the Viking ships

Day 3 - Flight Oslo-Alesund

Alesund is beautifully located on the western coast of Fjord Norway, surrounded by a spectacular archipelago of islands, Fjords & mountain peaks. The town is young at heart, but with an unusually dramatic story to tell. One stormy night a hundred years ago, the whole town centre burned to the ground. Only a few houses survived the devastation in 1904, and ten thousand people were made homeless. A new town rose phoenix-like from the ashes – in the distinctive Art Nouveau style.

Day 4 - Cruise Alesund-Geiranger

Fjord cruise on the beautiful Geirangerfjord, appr 5 hours, before you disembark in tender boats in the scenic fjord village of Geiranger, with pick up at the pier. 

Dinner &  overnight in room with fjord view at the classic, beautifully located Union Hotel.

Day 5 - Geiranger-Oslo

The Golden Route; the Eagles Road & Trollstigen: By coach across the Golden Route mountain roads to the fjord village of Andalsnes - the Eagles Road with a breathtaking view of the Geirangerfjord, and the spectacular, breathtaking Trollstigen hairpin road

The Rauma train line: Board the train in Andalsnes and enjoy the unforgettable trip through the spectacular Rauma valley, with mountain peaks, rivers & waterfalls.

 

Change to the Dovre line at Dombas, then through the scenic Gudbrandsdal valley to Oslo, with late evening arrival. Spend 1 night in Oslo
