Itinerary:

Day 1 - Oslo

Individual arrival to Oslo. Check in at the centrally located elegant Bristol hotel.

Take the SAS airport bus directly to the hotel from the Oslo/Gardermoen airport.  1 night in Oslo

Day 2 - Oslo-Tromso

Late morning or early afternoon flight to the Arctic city of Tromso.

Spend 2 nights at the centrally located Radisson Blu Hotel (or similar)

Hunting the Northern Lights - Adventure Trip
You will be picked up in the centre of Tromso for an adventurous trip to the exotic wilderness of the Tamok valley. Due to the geographical location the climate is drier and colder than in Tromso, thus offering a maximum chance of seeing the amazing Northern Lights. The visit includes a traditional, hot meal and social time by the open fire in the Sami tent. Also included: Insulated body suit. Warm shoes, gloves, headwear & head lamp. English speaking guide.

Day 3 - Northern Lights trip with dog sledding

Optional activities during the day, then enjoy a 4-5 hour Northern Lights/Aurora adventure trip, with a dog sledding trip and a traditional, warm evening meal in a lavvo (Sami tent).

Day 4 - Snow mobile safari & Log cabin

You will be picked up at your hotel in the afternoon for a trip to the beautifully located log cabin, close to the spectacular Lyngen Alps. Adventurous Snow mobile safari & evening meal included. Log cabin with breakfast.

 

The Lyngen area is located appr 1 hour drive from Tromso, including a ferry trip, far from the lights of the city.

Day 5 - Tromso-Oslo

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Oslo. Overnight at an airport hotel or in the city (at your choice).

Airport transfer in Tromso included. 1 night in Oslo

 

Some sights in Oslo:

The Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking ship museum, the Akershus Fortress, the Opera house, the Edvard Munch museum

Oslo offers excellent cross-country & Alpine skiing in the close by Nordmarka area, easily accesible from the city centre
