Day 1 - Bergen Pick up the rental car at the airport. A 30 min drive to Bergen for an overnight stay at the charming Hotel Park Pension or similar hotel. Day 2 - Bergen area-Solstrand/Bjoernefjord Spend the morning in Bergen and drive to the beautifully located Solstrand Fjord hotel, offering a marvelous view of the fjord and the Folgefonna glacier. En route you can visit the picturesque Troldhaugen villa; the home of the composer Edvard Grieg. Idyllic garden. Day 3 - Solstrand-Hardangerfjord Drive along the picturesque outer parts of the Hardangerfjord before you cross the fjord by ferry to the tiny village of Utne and the picturesque historic wooden Utne hotel. Day 4 - Hardangerfjord-Sognefjord Drive to the inner parts of the Hardangerfjord, then via the mountain village of Voss on to the Sognefjord and the village of Gudvangen, with a scenic car ferry fjord cruise on the famous Naeroyfjord branch (the narrow fjord).  After Voss you can make a detour via the breathtaking Stalheimskleiven hairpin road, or just enjoy the view of the Naeroy valley from the Stalheim hotel. Drive along the northern side of the main Sognefjord to the scenic fjord village of Balestrand.
