Day 1 - Oslo

Individual arrival to Oslo. Check in at the centrally located elegant Hotel Continental.

-Take the airport train to Nationalteateret station.

Private transfer on request.

Day 2 - Oslo-Geilo mountain village

Pick up the rental car, then drive through the Hallingdal valley to the nice mountain village of Geilo. Check in at the classic, historic Dr. Holm's hotel.

Excellent hiking areas close to the hotel.

Day 3 - Hardangerfjord-Bergen area

Across the Hardangervidda mountain plateau, descending through the dramatic Maabodal valley with the Voringfoss waterfall, then along the inner parts of the Hardangerfjord, with beautiful views of the Folgefonna glacier. 2 nights at the beautifully located Solstrand Fjord hotel.

Day 4 - Bergen area/Solstrand

Spend the day visiting Bergen (45 mins drive from the Solstrand hotel) & the surrounding areas. Alternatively spend a relaxing day in the beautiful Solstrand area or

enjoy the excellent SPA and wellness facilities at the hotel. Book your SPA appointment in advance!

Day 5 - Bergen area-Balestrand

Drive via Voss and the beautiful Vikafjell mountain road to the Sognefjord and the scenic fjord village of Balestrand. Overnight at the historic Kvikne's hotel, fjord view room. Excellent Norwegian buffet dinner included

Day 6 - Balestrand-Oslo

Drive along the Sognefjord, then across the Filefjell mountain road and through the valley of Valdres to Oslo.

Drop the rental car and spend the final night at the Hotel Continental. Airport hotel on request.

Day 7 - Tour finish in Oslo

The tour finishes after breakfast on day 7.

 

Main sights in Oslo:
The Opera house, The Edvard Munch museum, The Viking ship museum, the Vigeland Sculpture Park
