Day 1 - Bergen

Individual arrival and check in at the centrally located Hotel Opus XVI, which is located a short walk from the waterfront, the fish market & shopping areas.

Day 2 - Sognefjord excursion

Fjord cruise: Enjoy the amazing fjord cruise by express boat along the idyllic coast with narrow straits, islands & tiny villages, then on the majestic Sognefjord - the world's longest fjord, with calls at tiny fjord villages en route. The fjord cruise finishes with the spectacular Aurlandsfjord branch.

In the tiny fjord village of Flam you board the famous Flam Railway, taking you from sea level through the dramatic Flam valley, with waterfalls, rivers & mountain peaks, to the mountain station of Myrdal. Change to the main Bergen line, with evening arrival to Bergen.

Day 3 - Cruise to Mostraumen

3 hour fjord cruise: Deep fjords, sheer mountains, mighty waterfalls and powerful currents! This spectacular tour from Bergen takes you up the 27 km long Osterfjorden in Hordaland province. Innermost in that deep fjord is Modalen, the second smallest municipality in Norway with about 380 residents. Underway, the fjord narrows between the steep mountains as you are brought safely through the strong currents of the shallow and narrow Mostraumen strait.

Spend the afternoon at leisure in Bergen - see the old Unesco Bryggen wharf, take the funicular to the top of mount Floyen, offering a marvellous view of the city and its surroundings
