Bodo & Lofoten IslandsCrossing the Arctic Circle to Bodo, with a few hours to explore the city. Then on to the Lofoten Islands with calls at the fishing villages of Stamsund & Svolvaer in the evening.

Enjoy an exotic Aurora safari in the evening: you will be picked up in the centre of Tromso for a Northern Lights chase by bus. Seven base stations are set up at different locations, and the best one for the evening is chosen, depending on the weather reports. Each base has its own local English speaking guide, a warm shelter and camp fire. Northern lights film shown on the bus. Warm clothes, light evening meal & transfers included. |

Sights in OsloWe suggest a visit to the spectacular Oslo Opera House, designed by the Norwegian firm Snohetta, opened in April 2008. The Opera House won the culture award at the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona in October 2008 and the 2009 European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture (Mies van der Rohe award). You can also visit the Vigeland Sculpture Park, with the famous "Sinnataggen" (angry boy), located in the scenic Frogner park, easily accessible by tram from the centre of Oslo. Visit the Edvard Munch Museum, with the famous "Skrik" (scream) and several of his most famous paintings. You will also find Edvard Munch's paintings in the National Gallery. The amazing Astrup Fearnley Museum of contemporary Art, designed by the famous Italian architect Renzo Piano - has added a new Architectural masterpiece to Oslo, centrally located at the waterfront Tjuvholmen. The museum opened in September 2012 |
