Day 1 - Bergen

Individual arrival and check in at the centrally located Neptun Hotel.

Day 2 - Bergen & Cruise departure

Spend the day in Bergen before your afternoon transfer to the ship. Evening meal on board. Cruise departure at 22:30.

Day 3 - Cruise & Alesund

Arrival to the Art Nouveau town of Alesund at noon. Spend 3 hours at leisure in the city before the ship sails towards the coastal cities of Molde and Kristiansund.

Alesund is located in the middle of a dramatic archipelago of islands and mountain peaks. The pier is centrally located, with easy walk to the unique, picturesque Art Noveau town, rebuilt after the dramatic fire in january 1904, ruining the entire city of wooden houses due to a strong storm, but luckily only 1 person died in the fire.

Day 4 - Cruise & Trondheim

The Trondheim fjord and the picturesque, historic city of Trondheim. Spend 4 hours at leisure in the city, or take an optional sightseeing tour.

Day 5 - Cruise Bodo-Lofoten Islands

Cross the Arctic Circle to Bodo, with a few hours to explore the city. Then on to the Lofoten Islands with calls at the fishing villages of Stamsund & Svolvaer.

Day 6 - Cruise arrival to Tromso

Into a magnificent archipelago to the north, then on to the university town of Tromso, also known as the 'Paris of the North'. Disembark and check in at the close by Rica Ishavshotel.

 

Hunting the Northern Lights - Adventure Trip
You will be picked up in the centre of Tromso for an adventurous trip to the exotic wilderness of the Tamok valley. Due to the geographical location the climate is drier and colder than in Tromso, thus offering a maximum chance of seeing the amazing Northern Lights. The visit includes a traditional, hot meal and social time by the open fire in the Sami tent. Also included: Insulated body suit. Warm shoes, gloves, headwear & head lamp. English speaking guide.

Day 7 - Flight Tromso-Oslo

Flight from Tromso to Oslo, appr. 2 hours. Overnight at the centrally located 4* Bristol hotel.
