Dec 22 - Arrival to Oslo

Individual arrival to Oslo, check in at the centrally located Bristol Hotel. Spend 1 night in Oslo

 

Main sights of Oslo:
The Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Opera House, the Viking Ship Museum, Edvard Munch Museum, Akershus Fortress & the City Hall

Dec 23 - Train Oslo-Geilo

Late morning train from Oslo (3 hs). Transfer from the train station to the historic Dr Holm's hotel at Geilo.
6:00 - 7:00 PM Christmas gathering with “gløgg &
pepperkaker” in the library.
The children decorate the Christmas tree.

Dec 24 - Christmas celebration

1:00 - 2:30 PM Lunch
5:30 PM The Christmas gospel will be read in the library

6:00 PM Christmas Buffet, smart dress only

8:15 PM Walk around the Christmas tree singing

Dec 25 - Horse Sleigh ride

8:00 - 2:00 PM Christmas brunch. (Breakfast 8:00 -11:00/lunch 11:00 – 2:00)
5:00 - 6:00 PM Bowling for the children in Bowl & Dine

6:00 PM Horse Sleigh rides

Dec 26- Train Geilo-Bergen

Late morning train from Geilo: enjoy the scenic Bergen line across the Hardangervidda National Park, with the highest point at an altitude of 1222 ms above sea level (Finse). Spend 2 nights in Bergen

Dec 27 - Full day in Bergen

Full day to explore the sights of Bergen - visit the Fish Market, the old Bryggen wharf (on the UNESCO World Heritage list), the Funicular to mount Floyen offering you a marvelous view of the city and surrounding islands.

Dec 28 - Fjord cruise & Flam Railway

Bergen-Oslo, The Norway in a Nutshell® combination trip:
- Morning train from Bergen to Voss
- Connecting coach to Gudvangen fjord village
- 2 hour Fjord cruise on the narrow Naeroyfjord & the scenic Aurlandsfjord
- Flam Railway & connecting train to Oslo, with late evening arrival to Oslo
