Day 1 - Overnight in Oslo

Individual arrival to Oslo. Check in at the centrally located elegant Bristol hotel, located one block from the main Karl Johansgate street, close to the Royal Palace, shopping areas and main attractions. 

 

You can take the Airport bus directly to the hotel from the Oslo/Gardermoen airport. 1 night in Oslo.

 

Optional:  you can stay at an airport hotel if you have a late incoming flight to Oslo

Day 2 - Flight Oslo-Kirkenes

 

Morning flight to the Arctic town of Kirkenes; "the top of the world", located by the Barents sea and close to the Russian border. Individual arrival to a centrally located hotel. Spend 1 night in Kirkenes

 

Wilderness Dog sledding

Hunting the Northern lights - time to explore the town before you will be picked up at your hotel for an adventurous 5 hour Northern Lights trip to the wilderness of the Pasvik valley, with Husky dog sledding & a wilderness evening meal served en route. Transfer to your hotel after the trip.
Snow hotel Kirkenes

Day 3 - Stay at the Snow Hotel

Enjoy an unforgettable overnight stay at the exotic Snow hotel located a short drive from Kirkenes - a beautiful piece of architecture with ice sculptures, surrounded by live reindeers in the Reindeer Safari Park. You can also take part in the feeding of the reindeers.

Included: Transfer from your hotel in Kirkenes, followed by a 3 course Arctic dinner in the exotic Gabba lavvo restaurant, overnight in warm sleeping bags, sauna in the morning & breakfast. Information about the stay at the Snow hotel

Day 4 - Flight Kirkenes-Oslo

Breakfast at the Snow hotel, then transfer to your hotel before your flight to Oslo. Take a taxi or the airport bus to the airport. Overnight at an airport hotel or in the city (at your choice). Spend 1 night in Oslo

The Northern Lights:

The Northern Lights - nature's own light show - are solar winds that meet the atmosphere in a zone around the magnetic North Pole, forming arches, waves and curls of light moving across the sky, with sudden rays of light shooting down from space.

The Northern Lights are visible between November and March when the sky is clear, depending on the Northern Lights activity.

 

The Arctic town of Kirkenes is located in the middle of the Northern Lights zone
