Day 1 - Oslo

Individual arrival to Oslo and check in at the centrally located Thon Hotel Opera, ideally located next to the Oslo Central train station.

Day 2 - Oslo-Bergen

Bergen line, Flam Railway & Sognefjord cruise
Enjoy the spectacular Bergen line train from Oslo to Myrdal across the scenic Hardangervidda mountain plateau, the spectacular Flam Railway to the fjord village of Flam and the scenic fjord cruise on the Sognefjord to Bergen.  Evening arrival to Bergen.

Spend 1 night in Bergen.

Day 3 - Bergen & Cruise departure

Spend the day at leisure in Bergen - see the Fish Market, the old Bryggen wharf, take the Funicular to the top of mount Floyen. Afternoon transfer bus from your hotel, with cruise departure at 8PM.

Day 4 - Geirangerfjord & Trollstigen*

Fjord cruise & the Golden Route excursion
Enjoy the scenic fjord cruise on the Geirangerfjord and the land excursion by coach across the "Golden Route", with the breathtaking Trollstigen hairpin road & the Eagles road

Day 5 - Cruise - Trondheim

Disembark in Trondheim after breakfast. Individual check in at a centrally located hotel.

 

Spend the day at leisure in the historic city, with the Nidaros Cathedral, the old Bybroa bridge and the picturesque wooden houses, the Ringve museum of music history and the Open air museum.

Day 6 - Train Trondheim-Oslo

Enjoy the spectacular train ride across the Dovrefjell mountain plateau/National Park and through the scenic Gudbrandsdal valley to Oslo.

Day 7 - Oslo & the Vikingships

Guided city sightseeing by coach in Oslo, 4 hours,

including the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Holmenkollen Ski Jump and the Viking Ships. Late morning departure.
