Day 1 - Arrival to Oslo

Individual arrival and check in at a centrally located hotel. Spend 2 nights in Oslo.
View optional sightseeing & fjord cruises in Oslo

Day 2 - Oslo city sightseeing

Enjoy a late morning 4 hour guided City sightseeing including the Viking ships, the Vigeland sculpture park & the Holmenkollen Ski Jump

(The sugggested sights on day 1 are not included in the day 2 sightseeing trip)

Day 3 - Oslo-Alesund

Dovre line & Rauma line: Start with the Dovre train line through the scenic Gudbrandsdal valley to Dombas. Change to the spectacular Rauma line, taking you through the dramatic Romsdal valley with mountain peaks, rivers & waterfalls.

Connecting coach through beautiful fjord scenery to the picturesque Art Nouveau town of Alesund.

Day 4 - Geirangerfjord cruise

Board one of the Hurtigruten ships in the morning for a full day cruise to the scenic Geirangerfjord, offering views of the spectacular "Seven sisters" waterfalls. The Geirangerfjord is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.


Please note that it is not possible to go ashore in Geiranger.


You can book the extensive buffet lunch in the dining room when you embark in Alesund, alternatively there is a self service cafeteria onboard (lunch is not included in the price)

Day 5 - Alesund-Nordfjord

Travel by local, comfortable coach through scenic fjord areas to the Nordfjord and the tiny village of Loen, beautifully situated by the fjord.

Day 6 - Nordfjord-Bergen

Travel by local, comfortable coach along the shore of the Nordfjord, across the Utvik mountain road offering a marvelous view of the fjord, via the scenic lake Jolster and the remote outer parts of the Sognefjord to Bergen. Spend 2 nights in Bergen

Day 7 - Bergen at leisure

Full day to explore this Hanseatic city, with the picturesque areas of tiny wooden houses and narrow streets.

Day 8 - Bergen-Oslo

Sognefjord cruise & Flam Railway: Enjoy the extensive fjord cruise from Bergen to the very inner parts of the Sognefjord and the village of Flam, where you disembark and board the amazing Flam Railway - an engineering masterpiece

Change to the main Bergen line at the mountain station of Myrdal, taking you across the scenic Hardangervidda mountain plateau & the Hallingdal valley to Oslo.

Flam Railway

The spectacular Flam Railway takes you through breathtaking scenery with waterfalls, rivers and mountain peaks to the Myrdal mountain station. Approaching Myrdal station you will have amazing views of the Flam valley, and the train normally makes a short stop at the impressive Kjosfossen waterfall.
