Day 1 - Bergen

Individual arrival and check in at the 4* Radisson Blu Hotel Norge, upgraded  room, centrally located in a pedestrian area next to the main Torgalmenningen square. All main sights within walking distance.

Day 2 - Bergen city sightseeing

3 hour city tour, including a visit to Troldhaugen, the composer Edvard Grieg's home, and the picturesque Fantoft Stave Church. Departure at 10AM (15.05-15.09).

 

Some sights in Bergen:
The Bryggen wharf, the Funicular, the Fish market, the Aquarium, Edvard Grieg's home, the Fantoft Stave Church, picturesque areas with tiny wooden houses at the Nordnes peninsula and the hillside above the Funicular station

Day 3 - Fjord cruise & Flam Railway

Full day fjord trip:
Amazing fjord cruise by express steamer to the Sognefjord and the fjord village of Flam, then a ride on the unforgettable Flam Railway before you return by train to Bergen. Departure at 8AM, evening return to Bergen. Overnight in Bergen

Day 1 & 2: Time at leisure in Bergen (sightseeing not available in the winter season)

 

Day 3: The "Norway in a Nutshell" full day tour:

Starts by train from Bergen to Voss, then connecting coach to the tiny fjord village of Gudvangen.
Board the ferry for an unforgettable Fjord cruise on the amazing, narrow Naeroyfjord, continuing on the scenic Aurlandsfjord. In Flam you change to the famous Flam Railway - the spectacular, steep rail line taking you through the Flam valley with rivers and waterfalls.
At the Myrdal mountain station you change to the train back to Bergen.
