Day 1 - Bergen

Individual arrival and check in at the 4* Radisson Blu Hotel Norge, upgraded  room, centrally located in a pedestrian area next to the main Torgalmenningen square. All main sights within walking distance.

Day 2 - Sognefjord excursion

Fjord cruise: Enjoy the amazing fjord cruise by express boat along the idyllic coast with narrow straits, islands & tiny villages, then on the majestic Sognefjord - the world's longest fjord, with calls at tiny fjord villages en route. The fjord cruise finishes with the spectacular Aurlandsfjord branch.

In the tiny fjord village of Flam you board the famous Flam Railway, taking you from sea level through the dramatic Flam valley, with waterfalls, rivers & mountain peaks, to the mountain station of Myrdal. Change to the main Bergen line, with evening arrival to Bergen.

Day 3 - Hardangerfjord excursion

Local coach & fjord cruise: Starting by coach along the Sorfjord and across the Kvamskogen mountain plateau, descending to the Hardangerfjord. A connecting express boat takes you for a fjord cruise on the blue Hardangerfjord, with views of the Folgefonna glacier.

Maabodal canyon & Voringfoss waterfall:
In the tiny village of Eidfjord you join the unforgettable excursion by coach through the dramatic Maabodal valley, with views of the spectacular Voringfoss waterfall - among Norway’s most famous natural features, with a free-falling drop of approximately 180 meters.

 

Return to Eidfjord and continue by fjord cruise to the scenic fjord village of Ulvik, then by coach to the train station at Voss. Finish by train to Bergen

 

The tour finishes after breakfast on day 4
